replaced the screen problem

I had a cracked screen so I have bought a replacement touchscreen and followed instructions took my asus apart and have replaced this touchscreen successfully. However when I screwed everything back in and inserted all the ribbons and cables came to turn on the device it now won't turn on at all.

I press the power button and the led blinks white and then goes off without the t100 turning back on and booting up. I have therefore opened it back up and trippled checked all the leads to ensure that they are all conected properly which they are and it is still not working.

I therefore ordered a new display screen thinking this was the issue and installed this and it still is'nt working. I will by a new display cable ribbon to see if this is the issue and fixes this feel I am now guessing and this maybe only a simple problem to fix, can anyone help please?

what does a flashing LED light mean?

I had s similar problem with a screen replacement. Turned laptop on and got a corrupted dark unreadable screen. I kept pressing the power button off, then on, then blinking button, then off, then on. On about the 4th cycle the laptop booted normally with a beautiful new screen! Possibly UEFI bios related bug!?

some of the pins on the center connector are bent. You will need an exacto knife, a 20x magnifier, patience, and luck to be able to fix it. You will have to carefully peel away the black rubber atop the connector to see which pins are messed up.

Had the same problem, needed to replace the entire motherboard to get it working again. Pretty sure it's the center connector.
