Water damage repair fix
Is it possible to fix tablet with water damage. It was only in the water for a brief second. I tried a cell phone repair place and they think it could be the mother board. Please help. Thank you.

It is possible. You would need to take the back off and possible pop the board out. Check the board for corrosion and clean it with rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush and see if you get any life out of it. If you still get nothing you would will need to bring it to a shop that does water damage and has the parts for that device on hand. They will need to try a few new parts like lcd and battery to see if those where damaged.
