Trying to repair power button flex cable

This is my first attempt at repairing an iPad 2. The problem was a bad LCD screen. Everything was pink.

I removed the digitizer, and shattered it in the process. No problem, purchased a replacement. I also severed the power, volume, and mute ribbon cable. No problem, purchased another one. However, it seems I am missing a board? I am confused because I never took any boards out....

The bottom end of the ribbon cable appears to need to be connected to something, and the top part, just below the camera appears to have a cable that needs to go into it. I have attached pictures for better reference.

There is a pot here for a cable end, but I do not see that end on this cable?

It appears your ipad is a cdma version you have a power cable for a gsm version

here is the cable you need
