iPhone 5 pressure marks after screen replacement

Hello:

I have an IPhone 5. it is 1.5 years old. After that time I had no more factory warranty and the battery started to last a very few hours. So I got a new one from Amazon.com. I replaced the battery but I pulled too much the screen and the screen didn't work anymore. Having learned a big lesson from this mistake I took the iPhone to a store for an experienced technician to change it. He changed but we could not test it because the new battery I installed was not charged. So I went back home and at the next day I found that the screen looked great !!! But when I touched (with normal very soft pressure) some dark translucent clouds appear. only on the places I touched. They stay for some 10 seconds with single pass or soft pressure of my finger, but they can stay for up to 5 minutes if I press a little harder or pass my finger to much times over the same place, then after they always disappear. They can appear anywhere on the screen anywhere where I touch it. There's no difference in the color or shape of the marks considering the place where I touch the screen. The marks are gray. No any other color at all. Besides that the screen looks perfect. I wonder if the problem is caused by a bad installation or a bad screen or by a bad battery installation.

Hello, this screen recycling for reuse.

There are many types of screens in the market, this one is not original screen.

Go back to the store they will replace it for you in a good one.

Yes, bad screen. For the sake of this thread, if the marks had been more sharp and smaller it could have been a misshapen battery putting pressure on LCD. In that case smooth the battery surface to solve. But here in your pictures it is definitely aftermarket screen. Find someone that uses AAA or original screens....or DIY. You can do it!

Okay, I went back to the company that changed the screen. It turns out that the screens are new. I saw many of them brand-new in their sealed packages with their protective foils. Specially the new foils that come in the back of the screen. They installed a new one on my phone and the problem persist. They assured me they have installed many of those on other iPhone and didn't had this problem before. I had to believe them because they make the whole deal of bringing another iPhone 5 and installed a screen in front of me and it didn't had this problem.

So I ask, because I changed the battery before the screen, could it be that I have removed some of the adhesive and the battery is a little bit deeper inside the phone leaving a gap between the screen and battery so the screen bends a little creating those pressure marks ???

This looks like the battery is accually pressing against the back of the screen make sure your battery is not swelled and does not sit higher than the motherboard.. Who ever fixed your screen and could not even try and fix this problem is just a clown androsterone a YouTube repairer. Post some pics of the battery sitting in it's place or email them to me
