plastic fan cable socket broken
while removing the connector of the cable of the right fan, I broke the socket off the logic board. it is intact and in good shape. Is there a way to resolder it to the logic board or is there any glue or other way to refix this socket.?
I tried to put a piece of foam on the top, hoping the back cover would keep it in place, but the right fan has 0 rpm.
thanks for the help.

Can you post a few good hires pics of the logic board and the connector. Make sure you show us the solder points clearly of both.

HI Dan, Thanks a lot for answering so fast. I got the pictures, but cant see where to post them on this comment field.
Also, with the computer running, I pressed on the socket where it is supposed to be on the mother board, and the fan was turning at full speed only. the other fan was turning slowly.
I am sending the pictures attached to the response to the email i received from ifixit.

You'll need to post them in an answer. Use the blue icon in the field menu ribbon.

I must be stupid, but I cannot find how to put an answer to my own question. I can put to anyone else's.
