Why is my new battery draining fast and heating up?

Hello! I recently received my new battery from IFixIt and did the replacement myself. I've only had the battery for about 3 days now, so I've only had about 3 charge cycles completed. Sorry if this is long, but I was wondering if it's supposed to be draining somewhat fast. The battery will drain 1% in 2-3 minutes with low usage, and is warm depending on the usage. My old battery did the same, but the new one doesn't really seem as bad as my old battery.

If anyone could help, please do. Am I supposed to charge it a certain way? I am going to try for 24 hours, but I just want some clarification here, and any charging/repair steps I should take.

Note: I have redone the repair a second time, also. Basically a double check to make sure everything is connected right, and I cleaned the areas I touched with just a little rubbing alcohol to avoid connection issues.
