freezes when power supply plugged in.

I have the exact same problem on a Toshiba Satellite A205 PSAF3U-0P8015

Please let me know if you ever found a fix so that I can give it a try.

By the way in my case I was able to format and reinstall windows from scratch since the battery is in very good shape and it gave me enough time to do the whole process. It has to be something on the voltage regulators or something like that, maybe even a Bios update, who knows? Anybody out there that knows? Maybe from Toshiba support. Is there is something like the capacitor pack mentioned above, can someone send me the diagram that shows which ones to replace? Any Help appreciated.
