The power button won't work.
No matter how many times I press it, the power button just won't respond.

Either your power button is actually broken, or something like the battery died. If it won't turn on even when plugged in, it is likely the first issue. Unfortunately, the power button is soldered to the motherboard, so unless you're good at soldering, you may have to purchase a whole new motherboard. You might try and find the reset button hold it for a bit.
