All usb ports are working but Amazon Basic Mouse won't work?

the mouse drivers install but i can't use the mouse. it was working until i used my friends mouse last night.

Excuse me, sorry...try replacing the batteries...otherwise they're really not fixable. Also your USB port can be trippy
