Charger issues after a few months, will not recognize charger. Any Fix

This is 3rd Samsung brightside phone..... second with this issue. Still have 2 in service. The only way to keep phones charged is swap battery from good phone to phone with loose/doesn't read/accept charger. When bad phone is plugged up, you can wiggle cord...charge icon comes on briefly then disappears. This is second phone out of 3 in less than 2 years. Both verizon phones. Verizon will not work on them. And warranty has expired.
