MacBook wont power on after replacing broken screen

After replacing a broken LCD on a mid-2013 Macbook Air using the instructions found here, I am unable to power on the Macbook Air. The logic board seemed to work fine before the replacement. Now it will not power on at all, and when connecting a known-good power adapter, I get no light on the mag connector, either green or amber. Was the logic board damaged during the replacement, or is there anything else I can try? I've gone through the steps in the instructions a few times to verify that everything is reconnected properly. Thanks for any help you can give.

First thing after a big repair would be to make sure everything is connected, after that you may want to try and reseat the connections as well if it still isn't working. I ran into a problem where the power button wasn't working after a trackpad repair and reseating the cable for this fixed it. Also an SMC reset can be tried as well.

Ps. Remember to use electrostatic protection during computer repairs. If you don't have a wristband, make sure you are touching something metal during the whole repair.

Thanks for the advice. We had tried an SMC reset to no avail. This morning I asked one of my techs to take another look at it and it powered on fine. We suspect that the battery fully drained causing the laptop to reset itself in someway. Unfortunately, the backlight on the replacement LCD is out, so I'll have to file a return with iFixit.

If the unit is a liquid damaged machine you may also suspect a blown backlight fuse on the logic board. I don't know where the backlight fuse is located on this MBA model but if you find it try a continuity test on the fuse with a multimeter.
