System will not boot. Took keyboard off and touched power pads still no power. With the MagSafe plugged in I get a low clicking sound from both right and left fans and the hard drive. Could the left I/O board be bad. Battery is ok and power adapter is new. Help! Thank you.

Use a multimeter to test the output of the MagSafe adapter. Next test the magsafe board with the adapter plugged it. The pinout is on the right side of this Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MagSafe
