which hard drive to replace my 500GB for a 3TB

I watched your video about replacing the hard drive and she said to check which hard drive is the original in my machine cause I need to buy the same brand on iMacs 2009 or newer.

I looked at the serial ATA info of my and it is:

Intel 6 series chipset

Model: SAT3500418AS

Revision: AP73

Serial Number: Z2AGXWMR

it is a 7200 RPM 500GB and I want to replace it for 3TB

I'd like to buy the drive and the kit from you.

Do you have one?

Or was that a mistake and I can buy any brand?

Go to tour system profiler (About this Mac) under the Apple in the upper left hand corner > more info > System Report > SATA and tell us which brand of drive you have.
