What is the thing between the screen and the digitizer called cause if the screen came off with two parts how can you fix it?

What do you mean? Does the screen will operate? can you still see an image and does the touch screen still work? If you can please post a picture.
If the screen came off in 2 parts that is bad. To fix it you will need a new assembly. If the glass only came off without the LCD breaking then you can replace just the glass if everything still works (LCD and touch screen).
