Hi, I tried to fix my cracked iPod touch with a screen replacement, and it was going great until the last step. I tried it out before gluing, and the screen worked great. I don't know what to try! Does anybody have tips? Thank you!

Some time you need to bent the chrome on the 4th gen to get the screen to fit as you might have bent it out of shape when the screen was smashed

Con is correct, usually the bend is where the impact was and depending on where it is located it should be fairly easy to bend back, just be careful. Also double check that your adhesive is laid flat and there is no debris such as broken glass, old adhesive or dust where the screen sits.
