You need to find a copy of the AHT for your computer to calibrate it and restore the fans to normal speed. I am including the link from Apple for the PowerMac G5. From this link you can download the manual which should answer your questions about the sensors. Good luck from a fellow G5 owner, Ralph

AHT - U mean Apple Hardware Test = problem - I dont have the original CD. And I cant find any AHT for G5 to download (apple have it for some other models),

But I have Sotfware "Hardware Monitor" - and through that i can see where the problem is = Memory Heatsink = showing to high temperature.

I NEED to know - where to find the "Memory Heatsink Sensor" - where is it placed ? Is it directly on motherboard, or is it throug som cable? If so, perhaps some one before me has moved it to wrong (warmer) place ?

From what I can tell the sensor is built in to the heatsink/processor package. This package can't be opened without destroying the processor. If you have not done so please download the manual as it gives a great deal of info (text and photos) to help you maintain the system. Ralph
