Booting loop after replacing power and sensor cable

I just replaced the power and sensor cable of my iPhone. Unfortunately it won't power on any more after the replacement. I can't turn it on via power button but if i connect it to my Ma, i will go on and display the apple logo on the screen. After a few seconds the logo disappears and it powers off. Then it starts right at the beginning (Power on, Apple logo, power off, ...). I'm suspecting a booting loop, but I have no idea how to fix it. Is there a possibility that the replacement power and sensor cable I bought doesn't work correctly? That would explain the not working power button. Any help?

The first thing I would check is the Battery and Battery connector. Make sure the battery connector is undamaged and make sure the screw under the battery connector is tight and in all the way so the battery connector can fit down all the way and snug.

Also, check the button itself and make sure it clicks normally and isn't screwed in too tight. A lot of the time the aftermarket button will need "tuned" a little bit to make sure it clicks properly and isn't just pressed all the time because of the tension put on it by the screws.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the quick response!

Just tried reconnecting the battery connection - seems fine to me. But the phone is still not responding to my commands.

Maybe I should also mention that itunes doesn't recognize my phone when I connect it to my Mac.

The button clicks perfectly. Nevertheless I will try to loosen the two screws a little bit. I will let you know if that worked for me.

Thank you so much, my phone is working again! It was the battery connector.
