My WII DVD drive stopped working so i pulled it and noticed that one of the SMD electrolytic capacitor is missing and I don’t know what type it is it from a d2 board and it was located by the ics2002 I’ll try to insert the pic if you could get me the number it would be awesome its the one circled in red

the board is not coupled to the main board on the wii. So you can actually just get one from me. I will give you the board but you have to pay for shipping.
Xbox 360 and PS3's have a serial key installed on the controller board for pairing. Luckily wii doesn't

Hi Dan - So we are clear the picture is of the DVD drive board? Is it possible the missing component is rattling around in the Wii case somewhere?
