Hi guys,
I have successfully repaired the power button with replacing the audio flex cable. BUT the mute switch isn't working anymore!!!... What can I do? De assemble and re assemble? Or could it be a faulty part (or damaged by me..)
Any advice please..

could be a faulty part. replace with the old one and check if it works

Do not know where you purchased your part ...
Dismantling and assembly will not help you ....
Or maybe during the correction hurt in flat cable
Attempt to replace a new one, this time will be more careful :)

I realize this was answered years ago, but I just had the same issue and the solution was simple and stupid. The mute button's bracket has a tiny little nub of a switch, and the button itself has a slot -- they both need to be either up or down. Like I said, simple and stupid.
