Why won't my iMac G5 20" still not power up?

I did the test to diagnosis my G5 iMac because it had no power at all with the back cover off. Hit the internal power button (no other internal reset button). The #1 LED did come on and stays on when electric is plugged in, #2 LED never came on. As suggested, I replaced the logic board, still no power up or any signs of life. Don't know what else to do. Could it still be the power supply? Thought if the #1 LED came on, the power supply was OK. Please help.

Thanks. I read this article from Apple ( http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2173 ) showing how to diagnosis the unit. It said if the #2 LED does not come on at all, it is the logic board. Read through it yourself. Must be a misprint or something. Don't know but I have a new logic board and have ordered a power supply now. One more thing, is there a difference between a iMac 614-0328 power supply and a iMac 614-0366 power supply? Both have the ALS cable attached to the back of the power supply which is needed for my particular iMac G5 unit. Thanks again.

They will both work with the 20" G5.

You didn't come here first. I doubt anyone would have told you to replace the logic board first. The #1 LED indicates trickle power and will light with a bad power supply. That's the first thing that should be replaced.
