Should I fix the digitizer?

Hi y'all!

I'm 14 years old and own an iPhone repair business. I have never repaired an iPad digitizer before and have many potential customers wanting their splintered screens fixed. I would want to know if I should try my first iPad repair? I have fixed around 35 iPhone's (mainly 4's and 4S's) within the last year. My main concern in ths repair is not ripping the wifi, power, and 3G cables. I have an iSeasamo tool (which is amazing!) and I will obviously use lots of heat. Should I attempt this repair? What things do I need to know from you guys as well as cautionary advice. Tips appreciated.

Thanks,

Todd.

hey man i worked for the company that made the iseasamo! and i refurbushed hundreds if not thousands of ipad 2s!! i also repair iPhone 4s and 4s's and i have to say an ipad would be a little more of a challenge for you since the iphones are mostly screws, try it once and see if its worth your time! just make sure you watch for the wifi cable but mostly the rocker cable! that cable is the most annoying to fix, you should be fine with your iseasamo a heat gun some 3m double sided tape and an air compressor( make sure to slowly drop the digitizer as you blow into it so dust doesnt settle) and make sure if u disconnect the lcd that the ipad is off or the motherboard will give it a dim screen, get all the old tape residue off with acetone(carefully not getting any on the camera) and last thing just make sure all the corners are not going to cause the digitizer to pop up as those corners bend in very easily! try it out once just make sure you do all that and it should be good! good luck kid! ps i also started fixing ipods and iphones when i was around your age im 19 btw good luck!!!!
