Why wont my pc start
i ran startup repair but all that happened was attempting to start and it stays on the screen with the little bar running at the bottom and does not move from this

roger, not sure which OS you are running but it does sound like you are having a driver etc. issue. If it is w Win OS try to start in safe mode and go into device manager and see if there are any devices that are marked with a question mark. Reinstall those with new drivers. Also, try to start your computer with minimum attachments, no printer etc. You may have to reinstall your OS. You can also check your computers hard drive if you go into your BIOS and set your startup sequence to CD and try to boot from a Linux Live CD. Let us know if that makes a difference.
