Is it possible change the country/region of my iPhone 4?

I have an Iphone4 bought in Ireland. I'v moved to the U.K. and my new Sim is not accepted. This may be a simple network lock but how can I tell if it is locked to a specific region and if so is it even possible to unlock?

Yes it can be unlocked . there are lot of website doing unlocking . Otherwise the best way is to call your provider and ask them to unlock this iphone. this may be a paid or may be free .
