Blocked SD Card Slot?

I cannot get the SD card into the slot. There is not the typical spring effect which you usually have with sd-card slots. Seems something is blocked inside, maybe the interlock. SD card remains 1 - 2 mm outside.

Has anybody an idea how to fix it, maybe without opening the camera?

The replacement guide on this side is not correct, because it shows the replacement of the Hero Connector on the backside, but not the sd-slot as it should be.

Hi, ur best option would be to open the camera. I just had a look at how to open the camera and seems straight-forward. Have a go and write back on what u did. Good luck.
