I have a 2020 M1 macbook air from a client. Screen was cracked. I bought a used one off ebay. Did the install and it worked great for a few months (July 2024), come end of Oct. 2024, I get a call the screen is black. You can see backlight, no damage. External display shows just fine in open and clam mode. I'm an old mac tech and didn't realize there was some system config to do to connect them via diag mode. I tried to get into diag and pick english BUT most the display isnt on the monitor, so I can't see confirmation buttons. This is unfortunate. Have to pay again to get a new "apple" screen
