You said that you replaced the charging socket but did you notice if there were any components on the board e.g. power mosfets that were visibly damaged i.e. burnt out or heat stressed?
Post some close up images of the motherboard, in your question above as there may be something to be seen. Here's how to do this on ifixit [guide|21499]
If there's nothing obvious then you may need the schematics to find out what's wrong.
If the motherboard's model number is NM-C771 (printed on the board), I couldn't find a free download online. This is the [link|https://www.laptopserviz.bg/index.php/enview/laptopschematics/lenovo/lenovo-thinkpad-e14-e15-gen2-amd-lcfc-nm-c771-rev0-2-schematic.html/|cheapest] one that I found. You may have better luck in finding a free download.

Here's the [document|38837|schematic] for the NM-C421 motherboard. Perhaps start checking the USB ports as seen on p.69 of the schematic. I don't know the laptop so I'm not sure which port is the charge port.

This time I ''couldn't find a free'' [link|https://www.laptopserviz.bg/index.php/enview/boardview/compal-boardview/lenovo-thinkpad-e14-e15-lcfc-nm-c421-fe4a0-fe5a0-rev1-0-boardview-12131.html/|boardview] file (again cheapest one that I found) so that you know where each of the components shown in the schematic are actually located on the motherboard as no doubt a lot of them won't be designated.
