@looks like the cable that does not fit is for a iPad 2 Wi-Fi 16 GB (EMC 2560) like this one [product|IF110-015] whereas the one that should fit is [product|IF110-006] for a iPad 2 Wi-Fi EMC 2415

Double check the EMC number engraved in the bottom, back of your iPad so we can figure out what the right model is :-)
