What logic board component is this?

#### テキスト:

I am currently trying to resurrect a relatively expensive hair straightener. It is a Croc Infrared Titanium Ceramic 1.5-inch Flat Iron. Upon disassembly of the logic board, I did find an obvious burned out component. It does look like a resistor, but does not quite fit the pattern. It is 9.6mm in length, which would make it 1/2 watt. The part that does not look like a resistor are the ring markings. From what is left it looks like: |

Black |

Grey |

third ring not clearly identifiable due to damage |

Black |

In the normal resistor world, the third ring would be the multiplier, the fourth the tolerance. Black is not an option for that. So anybody have an idea what I got here? Anybody have a flat iron apart to let me know what component I am looking at? I did try to find any schematic or diagram without success. Thanks for the help. |

'''UPDATE''' |

Any chance this could be a capacitor? I do know that some of them use ring markings as well. |

'''Update''' Hope this is a better picture. |
