According to the [https://www.samsung.com/us/business/support/owners/product/galaxy-a02s-us-cellular/|specifications] for a Galaxy A02s (SM-A025UZKSC) it does ***''not'' ***have NFC capability so it might be region or market dependent if the model has it or not.
Samsung does this with a few of their models. Same model number for the phone, but some will have the nfc capability whereas others won't depending on where they're sold i.e. country or even service provider
