Hi,
It seems as though it is not passing POST (power on self test) or if it is, its not booting into the OS.
Try a full power refresh in case the BIOS has become corrupted for some reason, preventing a normal start, by removing ''all'' the power from the laptop i.e. charger, main battery and RTC battery.
So here’s the procedure:
-a. Turn off the laptop and disconnect the charger if connected.
-
-b. Open the laptop and disconnect the main battery and the RTC battery.
-
+* Turn off the laptop and disconnect the charger if connected.
+* Open the laptop and disconnect the main battery and the RTC battery.

Also if you have a DMM (digital multimeter) use its’ Voltmeter function to test the RTC battery’s voltage when it’s disconnected from the motherboard. If it is <2.6V DC replace it. If it is <2.6V DC the BIOS ''can'' become corrupted preventing a normal start as the RTC battery maintains the BIOS settings when the laptop is switched off. Search online for ''Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53-55G9 RTC (or CMOS) battery'' to find suppliers that suit you best.
-d. Press and hold the laptop’s Power button for 30 seconds and then release it.
-
-e. Reconnect the RTC battery
-
-g. Reconnect the main battery and reassemble the laptop
-
-h. Connect the charger and then try to turn on the laptop.
-
+* Press and hold the laptop’s Power button for 30 seconds and then release it.
+* Reconnect the RTC battery
+* Reconnect the main battery and reassemble the laptop
+* Connect the charger and then try to turn on the laptop.
If it starts there may be a message regarding the date and time being incorrect. This is normal as the BIOS has been reset. Once it has been corrected, the message won’t appear the next time that the laptop is started.
