a novice who recently used Youtube tutorials and this site to replace the old hard drive on my mid-2012 13-inch MacBook Pro with a 1 TB SSD (and it still has the maxed-out 16 GB of RAM). The

laptop went from being* barely* useable and having the spinning rainbow wheel practically every second to being significantly more functional computer - but I find that I’m ''still'' getting a fair amount of the spinning rainbow wheel. While

While
nowhere as bad as it was before the new hard drive, I’m surprised that I’m still getting the spinning rainbow wheel so often. It’s not so much that it prevents me from using the laptop, butlaptop.

But
I’m wondering if I did something wrong in the installation or formatting, or whether this is just to be expected with a decade old laptop, albeit with a new hard drive? Thanks
