Power down, unplug the device and remove the battery.
Now hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Plug in the charger, without battery, and see if it works. If it works then install battery. Does it still work?

* Reseat the RAM by taking out and re-inserting. If two try one and then the other in each slot.
