Hi,
-You maybe able to just replace the LAN port as it appears to be only soldered to the motherboard.

Here’s a composite image of the motherboard from this [https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=32821|supplier] (only selected as it had a reasonable view of the LAN port) showing the LAN port and its connection to the motherboard.

Here’s the [https://dl.dell.com/topicspdf/precision-m7510-workstation_owners-manual_en-us.pdf|owner manual] for the laptop. Go to p.35 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the systemboard, as this will need to be done so that the replacement of the LAN port can be done.
I don’t know the laptop but count the number of pins in the port to know which part you will need and also if it is an smd (surface mount device - soldered to pads on the surface of the motherboard) or thru hole type (soldered on the opposite side of the motherboard (can’t see it to well from the images what type it exactly is but it has 8 pins I think).
For example if it has 8 pins and is a smd type then search for ''RJ45 8P8C smd'' or if it is a through hole type then search for ''RJ45 8P8C thru.''
If this is too daunting to do yourself, contact a reputable, professional laptop repair service and ask for a quote. It should be cheaper than replacing the motherboard, although finding the exact RJ45 connector may involve a bit of a search, but maybe not for those who work on laptops all the time.
