Hi @geekyguy

Try a power refresh and then check if it boots OK or at least stays on.

Here’s how:

Disconnect the charger from the laptop if connected and then remove the main battery from the laptop.

Press and hold the laptop’s Power button for 30 seconds and then release the button.

This will dissipate any residual charge in the laptop and restore the BIOS to the factory default settings.

Reinsert the battery and connect the charger to the laptop.

Switch on the charger and then the laptop and check if the laptop starts and that you can get into BIOS by pressing F2 when the Dell logo appears.

If still no good try the same again but this time also remove the RTC battery from the laptop as well as the main battery and the charger and pressing the Power button etc.

Here’s the [https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_laptop/esuprt_latitude_laptop/latitude-e6330_owner%27s%20manual_en-us.pdf|owner manual] for the laptop. Go to p.25 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the coin cell battery (aka RTC battery, CMOS battery)

After the 30 seconds power button operation reinsert the RTC battery, the main battery, connect the charger and start the laptop and check that it boots OK.
