I had the same problem after replacing a cracked screen myself , upon examination I noticed a very slight bit of dust or debris (hardly noticeable) . Decided to remove the screen again and clean with screen wipe ( be gentle with this procedure as you could scratch the screen) making sure it was perfectly clean . When reassembley with new adhesive the screen worked perfectly. Hope this helps cheers

I thought the problem was fixed however the ghosting reappeared, removed the screen and used tape as per previous comments - this is the fix .
