What do you mean by rating?
If you mean power rating that is not a problem.
If you mean the resistance value, I wouldn’t stray too far away from the specified resistance value as its’ value was selected, in conjunction with RS827 and that of the opto coupler, to set the required base voltage level for QS807.
-It already has a low tolerance value of 5% so the circuit designers didn’t want the resistance to vary more than between 2850 - 3150 Ohms.
