I had the same problem with my DSXL I had the orange blinking light. It wouldn’t charge or turn on so I cleaned out the charger port of all debris and dirt and wala it started charging as it normally should and never had any issues after that! So try cleaning around your charger port area to make sure there’s no dirt or debris
