This is usually caused by the hard drive or hard drive/IR cable.  Pull the drive and hook it up to a USB to SATA adapter and see if it will boot externally.  If it will see if the drive is formatted GUID.  If it won’t boot try booting externally with a hard drive with a compatible system installed on it.

I always replace the cable on this model as it is a know issue.
