Reading about successful replacements of HDs in an mbp of 2011MacBook Pro’s (2011 or 2012, I2012),

wonder if a Samsung SSD EVO 860 of 1TB would work fine onin a mbp ofMacBook Pro mid 2010? (I

I had
already replaced the original HD with an SSDa Samsung EVO 840 of 500GB a few years ago; that went smoothly; butsmoothly. But now running again against storage limits, whilst the mbpsystem still performing nicely, I’m considering an upgrade to 1TB.) Probably for sure1TB.

Probably need to replace
the SATA cable to replacecable? Any experience out there?
