Could you add more detail of whats going on? There could be many issues. It sounds almost as if your power adapter is not connecting properly and not charging your battery thus resulting in your issue. Try holding the power adapter in and check to see if the light saying its plugged in to a charger is on, make sure that light is on and then try to turn it on.
