Without knowing the specifics of this particular ultrabook, a rough guide: # Use a PH 0 size screwdriver to remove the bottom cover. If it's not a Philips screw, it may be Torx, most likely T5 or T6, although I have seen smaller # If the bottom cover doesn't want to come off, use some of iFixit's [product|IF145-002-2] or a [product|IF145-335-2] to pop off the clips holding the bottom in place. If that doesn't work try a [product|IF145-259]. Slide the tool in between the bottom casing and the upper casing and run it along the seam until it stops. Pry the clip off and continue around. # To clean the fan, hold the fan hub and use a can of compressed air, or better yet, use a Datavac. Don't let the fan spin up, or it may damage the logic board header that it's attached to. If using a can of air, fire in short bursts, and let the can warm up between use for optimal performance. # Find the battery SKU and see if you can find a replacement online. ASUS may not offer replacements, but you may be able to find one off of Amazon. Just make sure that the replacement battery has the appropriate safety certifications, otherwise you could end up with a charred paperweight.
