if you mean what I believe you mean by disfigured then its more then likely a loose cable, nothing to stress over, but before having them comeback in, I suggest asking her to preform a hard reset on the devoice (Home Button+Power button at the same time until you can see the apple logo), and if that doesn't work then check the cables, if nothing seems wrong, purchase another led/digitizer here- [product|IF112-002-2]

+I've seen those before, Here's Your definite 1 of 2 solutions.

+A. Make sure that the cable connecting the digitizer to the device is in and secured, as it could be loose, causing the issue.
+
+B. If A Doesn't work, there's something wrong with the digitizer, I'd suggest returning it and buying a brand new one.
