@laucher78 take a look at the screen with the TV on in a dark room. If you see a faint glow on the display than you know that your beacklight is on. In that case my first suspect to replace would be the T-con board. If the backlight does not come on, then I suspect the power board. Unplug your TV and remove the back. Check the boards for any suscpicious looking components like domed or leaking caps.
