Hi,

Here is a link to the service manual for a HP Elitebook 8460p laptop.

On p.37 it shows the part numbers for both the HD and HD+ screens and cables. As the part numbers for the cables (and obviously the screens) for each type of screen are different, you would think then that you would have to get the correct cable for the HD+ screen.

If you 'Google' ''only the part number'' you will get results for suppliers of the part.
