How about you post the SPI ROM dump from U6100 and I'll email the person who owned it(email is stored in PLAINTEXT in the SPI ROM) and ask for the password? TL866A and adapter required.

Hint, most of the time the person on the other end of that email did not want to be separated from their computer.

JUST MY EXPERIENCE.

YOURS MAY VARY.

Let's ask, just incase this one time is different. I've never made a dime in my life off password removal and suggest no one here do the same, but it is fun to put original owners back in touch with their laptops. One thing Apple did right is put the customer's email address in plaintext in the SPI ROM, there is absolutely nothing more fun than emailing all of the people whose emails are in these dumps and telling them who on what forum has their laptop. On rare occasion they get their machine back after police intervention, and that warms my heart. :)
