Hi Jada,

The amber light can blink for a number of reasons. The first thing you should do is check to make sure that the Ethernet cable is plugged into the back of both the router and modem. If that isn't the problem, try unplugging the modem for about five seconds and plugging it back in to reset it. If all else fails, contact your local internet service provider to see if the problem is on their side.
