Why does my riding mower die after 15 minutes of operation?

My Craftsman riding mower has been recently tuned up with a new plug, oil and filter change, and new air filter.  It runs excellent, but after about 15 minutes of operation it stalls and won't stay running.  If I let the engine cool for an hour or so it starts and runs excellent,but repeats the process again.
