Jude, if you go back to the video and pause it on 7:53 that will probably help you see it better.  Looking at the screen the light sensor is on top, we want to look at the bottom row of components.  If you start on the bottom right going to the left, the component missing is the second to the left.  It's suppose to look like the third component on the bottom.  I hope i was able to help you on this.  Linda
