iPhone 7 Plus: Why is my phone overheating?

My iPhone 7 plus overheats, and doesn’t hold a charge well. The battery max capacity is 82% It gets really hot in the area under the camera after mild use or charging. I found a few posts about this from several years ago, but they all had different answers. Is it a problem with the battery, or the CPU, or something else? I have a replacement battery I can easily put in, so I’m apt to try that first. Thanks for your help!

Have a great day and God bless!

iPhone 7 Plus: How to remove and replace an already broken screen?

I have an iPhone 7 Plus that overheats. I’m going to swap out the battery, however, the bottom left corner of the screen has a single crack running from left edge to bottom. I don’t want to replace the screen, it costs too much. Can I open the phone, replace the battery, and put the phone back together still? Or will the suction cup snap the screen? Thanks for your help! This is my first repair.

iPhone 7 Plus: Connecting charge port and speaker antennae

When replacing the charge port, the speaker and charge port antenna are disconnected from the logic board and then, obviously, need to be reconnected.

Can each antenna be connected to either port on the logic board or do they need to be to their original location. On the iPhone 7 Plus they snap in side by side. Easy to get them confused.

Any tricks on getting them to snap into place? They either go right on, or it’s a battle.

What is the function of antenna that comes off the charge port?

iPhone 7 Plus: iPhone won’t turn on

So my problem today is, I have an x2 iPhone 7 Plus that won’t turn on and when I press and release the power button 1s, instead of the mA to read around 0.006mA and return to 0.000 as the power didn’t pressed long enough to read the phone, it will stuck within (0.005mA - 0.008mA) and if I test the PP_VDD_BATT, PP_VDD_MAIN and PP_VDD_BOOST they all read normal. Please help point me to the right direction to fix this problem, I even try removing the Charger IC and replacing it, yet still!

iPhone 7 Plus: About Errors On iPhone 7 Plus

Hello, I am a user from Vietnam. I have a 7 plus phone that is currently experiencing the following error. Loss of Vibration throughout the device (both vibration when pressing the home button and warnings), weak wifi / mobile signal, loss of proximity sensor, and especially when recording video, both the front and rear cameras have no sound (only sound noise shhh shhh, And when i start pressing the video recording button, the recording process will not happen immediately but will delay about 3-5 seconds ). But what's more remarkable is that when I record, make calls, or even make video calls, the microphone still works normally!. I took the device to repair places in my country, but most of them returned the device. Although I am not a professional repairman, I also want to know the reason for those errors on the phone. my phone 7 plus. Can someone with experience explain it to me?? Thank you very much for listening to the question!

iPhone 7 Plus: 3D Touch works bad

Hi all, a few months ago my iPhone screen broke and as there are no official Apple stores in my country had to repair it with no official services. Since the screen broke I went through several technicians and changed more than 5 times of screen and I still have the same problem. none of the screens is responsive as the original, sometimes when typing very fast the screen does not take the letters correctly. But the biggest problem is that the 3D Touch does not work as it should, there is no difference between the 3 levels of pressure and it only works when I use my thumb. It's as if it only works when I use the entire surface of my thumb. no matter how hard I press just to support my thumb with the largest surface of my finger the 3D Touch is activated. Has anyone else had this issue ? ifixit screens work in the same way as the originals?
