iPhone 6: Mic issues after screen replacement

I recently had my front screen replaced on my iPhone 6 and had to have it re-replaced after the first screen had burn in issues.

Since the screen replacement, I've had issues with my front mic - Siri cannot hear me, my voice message feature does not work - audio is very low and jumbled, my speaker phone does not work (people cannot hear me), and some videos I record have jumbled audio also. Also, my camera feature when selected from within n the text app will not open - all I get is a black screen, as if the lens cover is on (for lack of a better description).

This morning, my alarm didn't play sound either. So I'm wondering if there's also a speaker issue now? When I switched the silent toggle off, it worked.

I replaced the screen the same day I upgraded to iOS 8.2. A Google search confirmed some people experiencing some similar things, but not exactly. Could this be the cause?! Or is it likely the hardware change resulted in damage to some connections?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

iPhone 5: Battery wont charge after new battery installed.

OK, my phone kept shutting off even with battery still left, sometimes 40% sometimes 20% sometimes as much as 70%, as soon as I plugged it in and it would start right back to where it was (as far as the battery %). After about a month of this I figured the battery was dying and I needed a new one so I came on here and used the guide and replaced the battery. Then when I started my phone and used the front facing camera the phone would freeze up so I ordered a new one of those. But I realized my battery never charged and it died on me, so I thought maybe I received a bad battery and ordered another, when I got it it had about 20% so I plugged it in and came back about half an hour later, and I lost about 2%, so I tried 3 different cables 2 different wall chargers I tried the laptop the pc even the car charger... nothing. I restored it, no change. So I ordered a new charging port put it in and still nothing. What could the problem be? I'm at about 7% battery and counting.

iPhone 6 Plus: iPhone stuck in an activation loop

We currently have an IPhone 6 plus that is stuck in an activation loop. Whenever you turn the device on it goes to the hello screen to go through the setup process. If you set the phone up with a sim card inside it will revert back to the hello screen as soon as you reach the home screen. If the phone is set up with out a sim card it will work fine until you insert a sim card. Once you put a sim card in it will reset and start the activation loop again. I have tried multiple restores both standard and DFU mode so it isn't software related. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and how to fix it.

Thanks in advance

iPhone 6 Plus: [iOS 11.3] Battery Health Beta - No Change after Replacing Battery

hello,

I have replaced battery on iPhone 6PLUS with a new one, most probably genuine OEM one (looks very good and original).

Unfortunately battery status stayed the same - SERVICE :(

Maximum Capacity also stayed the same which is poor 65% :(

I have double checked the battery with coconut and iBackupBoot and its 100% capacity and 0 cycles.

I have tried ERASE ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS - no change

I have tried Restoring 11.3 from scratch in iTunes - no change

I have checked battery in iBackupboot again and still 100% capacity.

1. Is there a way to reset battery info capacity and service status?

2. How to do it?

3. Has anyone tried replacing battery and what happened with previous status and capacity number?

iPhone 6s: The backlight on my iPhone 6s is not lighting up

My backlight is not lighting up. The screen is black but will accept touch input. I have tried reconnecting the screen, cleaning cables, and wiping down the back of the screen with a DRY rag. This problem surfaced after I attempted to add a Glowing led apple logo. The funny thing is: it worked for about 15-30 min and then stopped. I removed the LED logo but the screen is still is not functioning. When I press the home button for the first time after turning off and on the screen, it flickers on then turns off. Any suggestions?

iPhone 4: Is there an iPhone diagnostics Program I can use to test with?

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if there is some type of iPhone diagnostic software out there that is similar to the software that is used by the geniuses in the genius bars in Apple stores?

I know you have to be an Apple staff member to obtain their software—so I'm not asking for that, just if there is some other version?

Thanks!

EDIT

Very recently, Apple updated GSX (Global Service Exchange. If you don't know what it is, Google it.), and this upgrade includes an iPhone diagnostic tool similar to the tool used at Apple Genius Bars. You need to be a member of GSX to access this tool, but this tool is capable of reading several systems on your iPhone such as:

- Device Info

- Battery performance

- Temperature monitoring

- iPhone usage

- Software Issues

- App Issues

- Memory Issues

iPhone 5c: How do you fix a screen with dark, flickering horizontal lines across

So a few months ago I dropped my iPhone 5c and the top right corner had a very small crack and at first didnt seem to affect the screens light but eventually it started to have horizontal lines across the screen and the screen is very dark (I can still see what I was clicking on but it was difficult) and then after a few days the screen became unresponsive(all black) but it the phone would still make noises and vibrate, so my phone wasn't completely broken. About a week ago I started doing research and I read that if you take the cover off and press on the plate covering the cord that leads to the screen you might make it responsive again. This worked kind of because now the screen isn't totally unresponsive, it's just very dark and has horizontal lines running across it. Do I need a screen replacement? Do I need to actually unscrew the plate and look at the cords? Thank you!

iPhone 5s: Restore error 14 or 1671 after inverting screws

Hi guys,

I replaced my screen once, and I think I may have damaged it while replacing, by forcing it too much. Anyway it doesn't mind.

I thought it could be the screws position placed wrong here:

http://www.etradesupply.com/blog/wp-cont...

Then, I opened the phone again and inverted the screws position, putting the bigger on the smaller place, now the phone was damaged I think.

Tried to turn it on, had that blue screen and then the boot loop.

I put the screws back to the original place, however the screen was gone (tested the old screen and it was working) and the phone is on DFU mode: I cannot get off it

When I try to restore i have error 14 on my pc. One of my mates got error 1671 as well.

I tried to restore it by many ways, but none successful. One thing that I didn't try yet was to restore on a Mac, but I don't think I will able to revive the phone by doing this.

The question is: is my phone damaged and gone (as the logic board is too expensive) or is there any chance to get it back?
